TE 402 was designed to complement my learning in TE 301 where I focused on developing a knowledge base for teaching language arts and investigated how children learn and how to assess this learning. It also builds on what I learned in TE 401 about teaching science and social studies to diverse learners. This part of the course will focus primarily on introducing me to teaching and learning in English Language Arts (reading, writing, speaking, listening, viewing, and literature study).
